About me

I'm a full-stack developer based in Saudi Arabia. I build responsive websites and web apps with React, Next.js and Tailwind CSS, and the APIs and databases behind them with Python, FastAPI and PostgreSQL.

I started in IT. After my degree I worked as a teaching assistant and a technical support assistant at Cambridge International College Sudan, where I helped students find the bugs in their code and kept the department's computers and software running.

Since 2023 I've focused on web development: taking on freelance projects and learning through courses along the way. I also have experience cleaning and organizing data.

Teaching and support work taught me to explain technical things clearly and to track a problem down patiently, and I bring both to the interfaces I build.

Makanak (مكانك), Addresses for Sudan
Most streets in Khartoum have no name and most houses no number, so couriers find people by phone. Makanak is a public API, with a phone app, that gives every house a permanent short code and directions in Arabic and English built from nearby landmarks, opens it in Google Maps and prints a proof of address with a QR check. Companies sign up for API keys with rate limits and usage stats, and each address earns a confidence score as couriers confirm real deliveries. Includes a satellite map with search across streets, neighborhoods and landmarks, and 122 automated tests.

Company website for One Gate Group Sudan. One site holds a dedicated sub-site for each of the group's sectors, including airport services, cold storage, fish export and hotel services, in English and Arabic.

Moon Cafe
Order-ahead system for a coffee shop, built as a demo. Customers scan a QR code from the parking area or a table, build a drink that is poured in 3D, and collect it at the car or the counter. Staff run a live orders board and the manager sees the day's sales. In Arabic and English.

Moon Safi, a Data Cleaner for Arabic Files
Cleans messy CSV and Excel files in the browser, with nothing uploaded. It repairs broken Arabic encoding, tidies Saudi mobile numbers, ID numbers, IBANs and Hijri dates, and finds repeated people even when a name is in Arabic on one row and English on another. Every fix is a suggestion to accept or skip, with undo and a quality score. Steps can be saved as a recipe, shared by link and replayed on the next file; two files can be compared row by row. Moon Talween, Coloring Pages Ready to Print
Coloring pages for children, made to fit the paper: one sheet, two a sheet, or a folded book with the child's name on the cover, for printers that print on both sides or one. 52 original drawings, Arabic and English letters, mandalas for older children, and pages made on request such as mazes, color by number and tracing, plus cards, masks and certificates. The page layout, the booklet order and the PDF file are written from scratch and run in the browser. In Arabic and English.

A course platform front end you can use end to end: search nine courses, open one to see its plan week by week, enroll, tick lessons off and come back to find your place. Filters live in the address bar, forms have real validation, and progress is saved in the browser. With dark mode.

Mail Viewer
A Windows program that opens old Outlook backups (PST, OST, MSG, EML and MBOX) without Outlook, an account or internet. It shows folders and messages in an Outlook-style window, searches archives of 50 GB and more with filters like from:, has:pdf and after:2023, in English and Arabic, and saves or extracts attachments. Files are opened read-only and nothing leaves the computer.
